2026–27 Membership Application

Membership fees

BSLC does not receive state or federal funding. We rely on membership fees, volunteers, and fundraising to run our program. Our goal is to stay as accessible as possible.

Financial aid is available

BSLC is committed to being an economically diverse community. We offer need-based scholarship assistance on a limited basis. A financial aid application is included as part of your membership application. Applying doesn't guarantee aid, but we want cost to be as low a barrier as possible.

Semester commitment

Members who start at the beginning of a semester make a five-month commitment when registering. Semester payments are due August 15 and January 15. Monthly installments are due by the 15th of each month.

Payment options

Pay in full each year, each semester, or break it into monthly installments via credit card, debit card, or ACH auto-pay. Credit card payments may incur processing fees. No refunds are issued for early termination within a billing cycle.

Joining late

New members joining mid-semester pay the first month's tuition (or the remaining semester balance) at the time they submit their registration materials, and commit through the end of that semester.

Part-time membership

We offer part-time arrangements for families whose situations call for a more flexible schedule. Part-time is an option, though we generally recommend full-time membership for more effective learning and community-building.
